Dang it...I'm gonna get this expression right eventually. Even though I usually work on the Cintiq, it often takes good ol' pencil and paper to work out those poses.

Bloopy Doodle gets the full Digital Painting Treatment with ArtRage
What happens when you take a nonsensical doodle and dcide to make a painting out of it?
Apparently, "this" happens: I call it, "Red Bloop"
Line art from a sketch in SketchbookPro - Painted with ArtRage 2.6
Here's a look at the work-in-progress:
Try ArtRage...it's fun, amazing and super-affordable!
....
P.S.: More of my ArtRage paintings here:

More Abstract Springtime Doodle-Fun!
This is what comes out of my brain when I'm not drawing somebody else's cartoon creations. The mind rebels in weird ways...
Post-It notes, index cards and scrap copy paper. That's my canvas.

Color Doodle: Psychedelic Faces Fiesta
Drawn with black marker on an index card. I took it into Photoshop, created a gradient background and turned the black layer into "Overlay" mode. Just to snazz it up :P
Phone Doodle: Three things to Remember…
Doodling on Storyboard Revision Notes
So I’m testing out some new markers and brush pens that I picked up at Kinokuniya in Little Tokyo. I ended up doodling all over the Fish Hooks animatic notes I was working on!
I thought it would be fun to post the sketches, but the printout has all kinds of secret notes about an upcoming episode, plus I wanted to remove all the crew names peppered throughout the document. So when you see some places that looked like the typing has been censored, it has!
Here’s the whole sheet…maybe after the episode airs later this year, I can post the whole scan without all the redactions…
More Sketchy Fun with Index Cards
I’m Happy! Index Card Doodle
Brush Pen Doodle-Fest
I just love sketching with a brush pen!
I thought these photos looked cooler than just scanning the artwork...but it was a bit hard to keep my phone's camera focused.
I like sketching with the PITT Artists Pen (make sure to choose the "Brush Nib"), but I mostly use the Japanese Mitsubishi PFK205 double-sided brush pen which you can get from JetPens.com http://www.jetpens.com/
Name that Doodle!
Another sketchbook exploration through the subconscious.. this time drawn with a red felt-tip marker.
What could it mean? What horrifying secrets lay hidden between the lines?
