All the comics are lovingly photographed from the old yellowed comic book paper of the original comics. The coloring looks totally natural against the off-white, pulpy-textured paper. The paper itself is very hefty and thick, so there is no bleed-thru or transparency of images. This is a solidly-built book, with a strong sewn binding. I will post a review of the biography and all the extras as soon as I get a chance to properly wallow around with this beautiful classic comics collection!

Hey Will and Barry -- one of my favorite things about Amazon is you can TRACK your packages...so I don't have to experience that awful sense of checking the mailbox every day. Just log in to their website and you oughtta be able to find out when its coming ^_^
Mine is en route as I type this, along with The Art of Harvey Kurtzman, also on its way, I will surely fall to my knees and weep with gladness.
I may have to lock myself in my room for a week to truly savor this great moment in cartooning history! The planets must surely have been in cosmic alignment.
