Here's a SpongeBob comic book story which I wrote and drew for Nickelodeon Magazine in 2002 -- during the break between the series' 3rd Season and the Movie: "Hiccup and Away!"

Your Spongebob comics is most original -- the part of old school Spongebob! I found many interesting things, like Felix the Cat or storyboarding here. before I didn't knew very well what storyboard meant (because I live overseas, in a beautifull country, Georgia; Katie Melua's Georgian too), but in this blog I knew many things I were interested for I love cartoons.
Happy Holidays (Now are holidays in USA, aren't they?)
Thank you, Constantine -- I'm very happy to know that you've been enjoying the variety of posts here on CartoonSnap! That's the whole reason I created this blog, so thank you very much for letting me know :)
Hi Sherm! I loved this comic so much I ordered the collection of em so I can always have and reference them.
I've been reading your blog for a long time now but never let you know how much I appreciate the treasure trove of awesomeness and incredible knowledge it represents. So I am doing so now :D
One of the reasons I love comics is because of stories like this. So mind-playful, such unbounded creative, imaginative looniness! Rich, effective, delightful, so-skillful cartooning. That scene of the "facade hiccup island" was especially effective!
The reference to laundry detergent in 6:1 was inspired!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun comic book story!
